My father retired from the Air Force when I was only 3 or 4, so unfortunately, I do not remember much about his military life. What has amazed me, however, is how all of you have kept in touch with each other, and after all these years you still remember him. It truly has been remarkable to see the former lives he has touched. <BR/> Before he passed, my father was serving as Captain of the Lawrence County Sheriff's Dept., and preached at a small church in Prospect, TN. He single-handedly raised 2 girls, who are now 22 and 19. He was mine as well as my sister's best friend in the world.<BR/> I appreciate the blog and your kindness more than you will ever know. First they put their whole team in the hallway at once. That means one good shotgun blast could have taken them all out. Second the initial search team in the last room had their back to the bathroom and it appears that it had not been searched.<BR/><BR/>The only thing I know for sure is that my team leader would never have let me get away with that. We would be doing it over til it was right, as soon as we finished all of those pushups for screwing up! Gen. Coleman is front and center (I guess the band did its job.) The round-faced Captain in front of the blazer on the left is Capt Brown (I think). I don't remeber the name of the to the left of him standing ramrod straight in front of the balzer, but he was a straight shooter. On the extreme right, in the boonie hat is, someone help me, Tsgt Holsenbach(?). He ran the special jungle patrol team. I don't remember when the photo was taken but seem to recall that the Col wanted someone rapelling from the building but there was a problem with the clay tiles. I have no recolletion of being the one performing the modified "spider crawl" or of standing on the clay tiles, or of even being present and therefore lack sufficient information to either admit or deny any allegation that I performed or was responsible for anyone performing such a "spider crawl." In fact, I beleive Sgt Castro was in chrage of the team at that time and we can all see where he is!!!!
